The thumb rest area gives the shooter additional leverage when shooting heavy revolvers preventing the muzzle from tipping down. These grips are designed for plate shooters either one handed or two handed and can accommodate any hand width. Due to the thumb rest, speed loaders cannot be used with this grip. They come standard with a stippled finish, however they are also available in smooth walnut.
